About Me
I am a versatile Software Engineer with an expertise in backend systems. My passions include: APIs, databases, Linux environments, CICD automations, and Infrastructure as Code. While many focus solely on the code, I take immense pride in understanding the full scope of computing—from the hardware and virtualization layers (I'm a Proxmox enthusiast) to the high-level APIs I orchestrate daily. This "full-stack" perspective allows me to build systems that aren't just functional, but truly resilient and performant. Recently I have been expanding my skills on AI. Finding strategies that help me get more done as an engineer with agents. Also I really enjoy training my own local agents using Ollama. Just like the one found in this browser which is served from the server and computed client side. I hope you enjoy this portfolio as much as I enjoyd building it!
Personally, I'm a father of two living in Austin, though I frequently split my time on my family's ranch in Abilene. When I'm not deep in a terminal or chasing around kids, you'll likely find me outdoors on the water, working on a hands-on project, or lost in music. Between art and engineering, I've always been driven by the love of creating something meaningful.
